Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Council of the Village of Bratenahl, Ohio at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the Bratenahl Community Center, 10300 Brighton Road, Bratenahl, Ohio.
The purpose of the hearing is for Council to hear public comment on proposed amendments to the following sections of the Bratenahl Planning and Zoning Code, forwarded to Council by the Bratenahl Planning Commission:
Ordinance No. 4296 amending Section 1111.06 Dwelling and Other Living Accommodations. This Ordinance, if approved, would add/revise definitions related to a proposed PRD.2 District. Specifically, it would add a definition for “live/work units” and amend definitions for “dwelling”, “townhouse”, and “multi-family dwelling”.
Ordinance No. 4297 amending Section 1117.07 Powers and Duties. This Ordinance, if approved, would specify the powers and duties of the Architectural and Design Review Board regarding their role in the review of proposed residential units in a new PRD.2 District.
Ordinance No. 4298 amending Section 1133.11 Modifications for Planned Residential Development Areas. This Ordinance, if approved, would add reference to a new Chapter 1163 PRD.2 District when reference is made to Chapter 1162 PRD.
Ordinance No. 4299 amending Section 1164.03 Preliminary Development Plan. This Ordinance, if approved, would add reference to a new Chapter 1163 PRD.2 District when reference is made to Chapter 1162 PRD.
Ordinance No. 4300 establishing Chapter 1163 PRD.2 District. This Ordinance, if approved, would establish and enact Chapter 1163 titled PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT #2 (PRD.2), rezone the property located at 11404 Lakeshore Blvd. and known as the Bratenahl Center and PP# 631-20-002 to the new Planned Residential Development District #2 (PRD.2), and repeal the property’s current zoning of R-2 Residence District.
Ordinances No. 4296, 4297, 4298, 4299, and 4300 and the Planning Commission recommendations thereon are on file in the office of the Clerk of Council at the Bratenahl Village Hall, 411 Bratenahl Road, Bratenahl, OH 44108 and are posted on the Village of Bratenahl website: www.bratenahl.org. Any interested person may attend the public hearing to speak or submit written comments thereon at least three (3) business days prior to the hearing by email to dcooks@bratenahl.org or delivered to Village Hall, 411 Bratenahl Road, to the attention of the Clerk of Council.
