Bratenahl After Hours
For 2008, we thought it might be fun to have village residents help plan and host parties,, dinners and the like. So, if you are a resident with a cozy little gate house, a picturesque side alley or a beach that would make a great setting for a gathering: Call us.

Let us know what kind of event you’ll throw, what the guidelines are, and we’ll help with the guest list, reservations, promotion, and we’ll even kick in money for food and beverages. Be creative!

The second Bratenahl After Hours event is a “Bratenahl Ladies Afternoon Tea ”, hosted by Kathleen Howard Glinka. Wear your favorite
summer dress and hat and bring an old fashioned tea cup. Delicious cakes, goodies and traditional tea fare will be served. Call the Rec. Center for Reservations. $3 Donation

Club 55
This is for the 55 and older set. Join us Tuesday mornings for coffee, pastry and some great conversation. Each week will be a little different. Some days we’ll have entertainment, and others just a nice time to get caught up with old friends. Everyone is welcome. (Free)

Concerts in the Park
Join us every third Thursday of the summer months for great live music at the Bratenahl Gazebo. Tables and chairs are provided but feel free to bring your special chair and a snack. Style of music varies from week to week.

Third Thursday Wine Tastings
Every third Thursday in January, February and March we get together to swirl and taste 5 to 6 different varieties. A nice assortment of pasta, cheeses, chocolate and whatever goes well with wine is offered buffet style. Call for reservations. $5 donation

A Celebration of Bratenahl Artists
This second annual art show and sale features the works of over two dozen Bratenahl artists / residents. Paintings, furniture, jewelry, hand bags, pottery, portraits and more. Live music and a great time. Don’t miss this new Bratenahl Tradition!
